VX Creators Writers Workshop to be Organized in Accra, Ghana.

VX Animation in partnership with GH Movie Freak is organizing a boutique animation writers’ workshop for Ghanian writers.

The one-day workshop is targeted at writers interested in honing their skills in creative writing particularly on multi-genre story telling through animation and film.

Somto Ajuluchukwu creative director of VX Animation believes “The concept really is to help discover and uncover African folktales especially Ghanaian stories from cultural and historical times and then re-imagining them in present day with science fiction, some romance or other elements of contemporary society”.

With award-winning animated films screened across the world and recognized in the global press, we continue to push the boundaries of our craft bringing the spotlight to Africa while creating value for an emerging industry.

The partnership is a precursor in the lineup of events, workshops and master classes leading up to the 4th edition of GhMovie-Con; Ghana’s Maiden Film & Film Tech convention which will be held in Accra in January 2023

The workshop will be held on Saturday 20th of August 2021 at the Central Ridge Hotel Accra, Osu – Accra.  Interested participants can register for free here.
