December, 2025 – Principal photography has commenced on TWO, a Ghanaian neo-noir directed by filmmaker Nana Kofi Asihene and written by Louis Lamis. The project is expected to be predominantly shot entirely in Ghana with an all-Ghanaian cast and crew.
TWO is a distinctly a Ghanaian production and one of the first in the country to bring together multiple creative companies in a single, strategic filmmaking partnership.
This production unites Bravado Films, LLP Studio, Apstairs Media and MW Media Ltd. This collaboration was designed to bridge longstanding gaps in the Ghanaian filmmaking infrastructure, financing and creative collaboration. Producers Nana Kofi Asihene, Aphua Larbi-Amoah, Louis Lamis, Isaac “Yaw Skyface” Mensah and John “Kwame Black” Markin represent a cross-section of Ghana’s creative leadership; filmmakers and industry entrepreneurs who have each built careers elevating Ghanaian storytelling, sound and visual culture. Their combined experience on film, fashion, design and creative enterprise positions TWO as a landmark project for local industry capacity- building and international visibility.
According to the Producers, “TWO is more than a film, it’s a model for how Ghana’s creative companies can collaborate at scale. We’re committed to producing world-class cinema that is authentically Ghanaian in voice, talent and crew.” It was essential to bring together multiple creative houses. This signals a new era, one where collaboration becomes the foundation for making films at an international standard, without losing our cultural identity. The film stars Gideon Boakye with a dynamic supporting ensemble of Ghanaian actors, including Dela Seade, Senanu Gbedawu, Louis Lamis, Nana Gyasi, and Ken Fiati, many of whom are rapidly building noted portfolios and demonstrate a wide dramatic range.
The casting intentionally foregrounds the performers prepared to carry \ Ghanaian cinema onto regional and global stages. Written by Louis Lamis (Kejetia vs. Makola), the film explores themes of duality, morality, and \ reinvention through a distinctly Ghanaian lens. Music for TWO blends original songs and an original score steeped in Ghanaian music and culture , ensuring the film’s soundscape resonates with contemporary Ghanaian music while serving the film’s neonoir atmosphere.
TWO is a Neo-noir film that follows Marcus, a man who has retired and disavowed his life of crime after intentionally botching a task. Reformed and living a conservative life in a church, he falls in love and marries Elara, a girl in the church. As he settles into married life, his past comes calling, which sets him on a path to tie up loose ends and leave his past for good. ‘The subject of duality and conflict has always been of interest to me. I have had my fair share of conflict, where your next feasible step in life seems contrary to who you have grown to become. There lies the conflict that you face in all facets of life: career, relationships, social life and spiritual. Duality, for me, isn’t an abstract theme. It is the quiet tension between the prayer you offer in the morning and the deal you make at night to keep food on the table’ ( culled from the director’s statement).
Two is currently filming and is slated for release in mid-2026. The production remains open to select investors and brand partners; interested parties from the luxury, technology, lifestyle and consumer sectors are invited to discuss bespoke integration and investment opportunities that support local talent and production growth.
