The Accra Indie Filmfest (AiF), in proud partnership with Edinburgh Napier University and the Chevening Scholarship Secretariat in Ghana, is excited to announce the AiF Creative Education Fair 2025, scheduled for Wednesday, 6th August 2025, at the Alliance Française, Accra, as part of the 7th edition of the film festival.
The addition of the AiF Creative Education Fair as a new element to the festival’s lineup of activities continues AiF’s mission of creating opportunities for young creatives and students by connecting them with international education pathways, scholarship opportunities, and industry mentorship. Under the festival’s theme, “Disruption – Visions of Tomorrow,” the event is set to be one of the most impactful educational gatherings for Ghana’s creative youth.
Event Highlights Include:
- Step-by-Step Guide to the Chevening Scholarship Application Process Led by representatives from the British High Commission.
- Meet with Delegates from Edinburgh Napier University – Explore undergraduate and postgraduate programme options in creative and non-creative disciplines.
- Interactive Sessions with Past Chevening Scholars – Learn from real-life experiences of global education and career advancement.
- Panel Discussion Featuring Renowned Voices in Creative Education and Global Mobility, including:
- Evan Eghan, Founder and Executive Director, Accra Indie Filmfest; Chevening Scholar; and President, Edinburgh Napier Students Association.
- Prosper Afun, Chevening Officer for Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Burkina Faso – British High Commission.
- Buchi Okonkwo, Regional Director, Edinburgh Napier University.
