Accra Indie Filmfest (AiF) Selects 52 Short Films Representing 28 Countries For The Festival’s 5th Edition Slated for 31st July to 5th August 2023.

In October 2022, a call for films produced by young and independent filmmakers across the world to submit their films for consideration as part of the 5th edition of the ever-growing international short film festival.

After over three months of jury members’ scrutiny and reviews, the festival finally considers 52 short films of all genres including; animation, narrative films, music videos, student films, documentaries and digital forms of storytelling from 28 countries to be screened and celebrated as part of this year’s edition of the festival.

As part of the official selections, Accra Indie Filmfest cements its partnership once again with Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France to screen 6 additional African short films programmed in their last year’s edition. In addition, a short film produced by the participants of this year’s edition of AiF FilmArt in partnership with Kyooto Media Group (Uganda) and Unique Motion Media Konsult (Nigeria) would be premiered at the festival.

This year’s festival promises to be an amplified version of the festival’s previous extraordinary editions with more exciting activities including; film screenings, masterclasses, music concerts, exhibitions, industry conversations, and many more.
