Ebo Whyte Starts Production Year With ‘Dubai Or No Sex’

Esteemed playwright and director, Uncle Ebo Whyte, together with his team at Roverman Productions, has revealed the intricacies of their latest play entitled ‘Dubai Or No Sex’.

The narrative of the play explores themes of honesty, integrity, and the influence of social media. It follows Adwoa, who becomes increasingly captivated by the apparent success of Simon, her husband’s subordinate. This fascination leads her to place unreasonable demands on her husband, craving a more lavish lifestyle, extravagant vacations to destinations like Dubai instead of his preferred Kwahu. Meanwhile, her husband, Barnabas, turns down a lucrative opportunity that could fulfill Adwoa’s dreams, resulting in her issuing an ultimatum that threatens to irreparably damage their marriage.

The production will grace the stage from March 29th to April 7th, 2024, with performances scheduled for Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 1pm, 4pm, and 8pm. Tickets are available for GHC200.
