Captain’s Corner: A Ghanaian Short Film Gem Set to Be Released on YouTube

The acclaimed short film “Captain’s Corner” by Organized Khaos LTD is gearing up for its highly-anticipated release on YouTube.

Written and directed by Mark Cofie Jnr., the short film recently earned an official selection at this year’s Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF). Notably, “Captain’s Corner” was nominated in 10 award categories, including Best Short Film (Africa), Best Film Editing, and Best Movie Director – Africa.

The film introduces a dynamic ensemble of up-and-coming Ghanaian actors, including Gideon Kojo Boakye, Brian Angels, Darlyn Adu, Al-Amin Alhassan, Cephas Nii Odartey Lamptey, and Bright James Amenonyoh, all of whom are poised to make their mark in the thriving Ghanaian film industry.

The storyline of “Captain’s Corner” revolves around Adam and his friends’ attempts to play matchmaker for Jason, persuading him to go on a blind date. As the day unfolds, the friends eagerly await Jason‘s report, only to find that his tale takes unexpected turns, defying their initial expectations.
